Jason is a Sydney-based animator who’s passionate about bringing ideas to life.
Most recently, he worked as Screen Graphics Designer & Animator for the feature film Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018). He has also done work for broadcast channels (such as Channel Nine, Nickelodeon, and ABC), renowned brands (such as Coca-Cola, Canon, Intel, Nestlé, and Philips), and television series (such as CJ the DJ).
While studying at the College of Fine Arts UNSW in 2005, he co-created and animated Ninjaman, the popular online game that has been played over 70 million times worldwide.
In 2006, he co-founded the advergaming company Subversive Games. During this time, he was Art Director, Animator, and Designer on a variety of projects, including the AIMIA Award-winning game Fuso Truck Empire.
In 2009, he joined the Kapow Pictures team as an Animator on the ABC3 cartoon series CJ the DJ. Upon the show's completion in late 2009, he joined Sydney studio RandomBlowup, working as Lead Animator and Producer until early 2016. While there, he worked on a wide range of projects, including the Vivid Sydney 2015 installation Tree of Light.
Jason is currently freelancing in Sydney, doing work for studios such as DD8, ZSPACE, and Artists in Motion.
